MERIDEN — Police are investigating after a vehicle was struck twice by bullets early Friday morning.
Police responded to the area of 343 W. Main St. around 2:11 a.m. for a report of shots fired. A woman told police she and a friend were inside the vehicle when it was struck by bullets, according to police reports.
Police confirmed the vehicle was struck twice by bullets, police spokesman Lt. John Mennone said. There were no reported injuries. Police are investigating the incident. No other details were immediately available.
