Benigni discusses school violence on statewide cable TV show



MERIDEN — School Superintendent Mark Benigni appears on this month's edition of Jim Pellegrino’s statewide TV show “The Hour,” which airs tonight at 6 on Cox Meriden, Southington and Cheshire public access TV channels.

Benigni is part of a panel on school violence. Other members of the panel are: Patrice McCarthy, deputy director and general counsel for the Connecticut Association of Boards of Education, and Patrick Chagnon, founder and president of Blueline Security Consulting Group.    

The panel discusses the recent history of school violence, including causes, prevention and potential solutions.

“The Hour” also airs tonight at 7 on Nutmeg Cable. It is available on AT&T U-verse, online at www.ccsu.edu/thehour, and can be found in the iTunesU section of iTunes.

Pellegrino is a Meriden resident.
