Things to know this week include plans by the Meriden Housing Authority to issue bonds and enter into a memorandum of understanding for “Regency South Development” and a Planning & Zoning Commission public hearing on Stone Bridge Crossing in Cheshire.
In Wallingford, the 13th Annual Holiday Stroll is set for Friday.
Here’s our list of five things to know as your start your week.
1. Meriden HousingAuthority
The Meriden Housing Authority is scheduled to meet Monday at 5:30 p.m. at 22 Church St. in the second floor conference room. The agenda includes “Approval of Executive Director Employment Agreement” and “Authorization of intent to issue bonds for Regency South Development.”
The meeting will be immediately followed by a Maynard Road Corporation Board of Directors meeting. The agenda includes authorization to enter into memorandum of understanding for the Regency South Development. Maynard Road is the MHA’s development arm.
2. Holiday Stroll in WallingfordOn Friday, from 4 to 9 p.m., Wallingford Center Inc. will sponsor its 13th Annual Holiday Stroll. The event features roasted chestnuts, ice carvers, kettle corn, a bonfire and a DJ, as well as the “Shop, Dine, Win” contest. Guests can fill out a ballot at each participating merchant to enter a chance to win a gift basket of gift cards donated by local merchants. Gift baskets are worth $1,000, $600 or $400.

3. Southington roof project committeeThe Southington Town Council is scheduled to meet Monday at 7 p.m. at the Weichsel Municipal Center, 196 N. Main St. The agenda includes action to appoint a building committee for the Southington High School roof project. Voters authorized funding for the project during the Nov. 8 referendum.
4. Stone BridgeCrossing in Cheshire
The PZC will hold a public hearing on Monday at 7:30 p.m. in Town Hall Council Chambers, 84 S. Main St. The agenda includes a new application for a resubdivision of Stone Bridge Crossing by Miller, Napolitano, Wolff LLC.
5. Meriden libraryproject update
The Meriden Public Library Board of Trustees is scheduled to meet Monday at 4:30 p.m. at the library’s temporary location at the Meriden Mall, 470 Lewis Ave. The agenda includes a report on the status of renovations to the Miller Street building.
