MERIDEN – A crash involving multiple vehicles is causing delays on I-691 west just before exit 3 in Meriden.

According to state police, the three-car accident was reported around 5 p.m. Monday between Exits 2B and 3.

Traffic was backed up about 2.2 miles, according to CTRoads.org, the state’s traffic website.

The left and center lanes were closed. No injuries were reported, according to police.
