MERIDEN — Two vehicles collided and one rolled onto its side in a crash at the intersections of Broad and Camp Streets on Monday morning.
According to police, both drivers sustained minor injuries and were transported to area hospitals. There were no passengers in either vehicle.
Emergency crews responded to the area of the intersection at approximately 10:30 a.m. and found one of the vehicles rolled onto its side with heavy damage and airbag deployments. A portion of Broad Street between the Interstate 691 east and west on and off ramps was temporarily closed. Police guided traffic from Camp Street and the interstate ramps, which remained open while crews responded.
Police said there was no readily available indication of the cause of the crash.
