MERIDEN — A motor vehicle accident left one vehicle overturned and blocking traffic at the intersection of Route 5 and Gypsy Lane at around 3 p.m. Tuesday.

First responders said one vehicle swerved to avoid another and hit a nearby curb, flipping the car on its side. 

According to police on the scene, no one was critically injured.
