Recently, the Quinnipiac Chamber of Commerce hosted a grand reopening ribbon cutting at M&T Bank, 117 Washington Ave., North Haven.
M&T Bank acquired this North Haven branch last year through its merger with People’s United Bank. It is located less than one mile from a Stop & Shop branch that closed recently. Bank staff from the Stop & Shop branch will now provide service at the 117 Washington Ave. location.
As a full-service bank, the North Haven branch includes a drive-up ATM, in-branch teller services, and online and digital solutions to meet customers’ banking preferences.
“We are a bank for communities,” said David Conner, M&T’s regional manager, “delivering the capabilities of a big bank with the care and empathy of a locally focused institution.”
In conjunction with the branch re-opening, and as a demonstration of its commitment to the communities it serves, M&T Bank made a $3,000 donation to the Slate School in North Haven.
