Arrest made following school bomb threat

Tuesday morning, the North Haven Police Department was contacted by a woman claiming that her daughter was afraid to go to school that day due to a bomb threat. Police said the caller was uncooperative and would not provide further information prior to hanging up. The call came in at approximately 7 a.m. The school in question is located in North Haven, but is not a public school.

Investigators quickly determined that the report was not credible, and school administrators decided to continue with normal operations Tuesday.

Police said the caller, Sharthia Bradley, was an employee of the school.

Bradley, 37, of New Haven, was arrested at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday and charged with Breach of Peace in the second degree, False Report of an Incident in the second degree, and Misuse of the 911 system.
