A true asset

Editor:

I am pleased to offer my support and endorsement for Dave Yaccarino for our State Representative here in North Haven.

Twenty-five years ago, I walked into DJ’s Card and Comic book store in North Haven and met a man that I connected with immediately. That man was David Yaccarino.

I saw clearly back then how well he worked with people and how pleasant and kind he was, how he treated everyone so professionally.

Not only has Dave been a wonderful asset for North Haven; he has been a wonderful asset for me as your First Selectman.

It is my honor to endorse and support Dave Yaccarino to continue to serve as our State Representative.

Michael Freda
First Selectman,
North Haven

Complete support

Editor:

I give my complete support for the re-election of Rep. Dave Yaccarino. He is always accessible; whether on a weekday or weekend, day or night.

My own personal experience with Dave occurred early on in the pandemic quarantine. Despite repeated attempts, I couldn’t get in contact with anyone at the state level to resolve my problem.

In desperation, I left a voicemail for Dave late one evening. First thing the next morning he returned my call and quickly worked on assisting me.

Without getting into specifics, Dave researched the issue and went above and beyond to solve my problem.

Please exercise your right to vote and re-elect Dave Yaccarino.

Dirty politics

Editor:

Honesty, integrity and transparency: Three things that the NoHDTC lack.

Last year Fire Commissioner Criscuolo (24 years service) was demanded by Cathy Grant and April Capone that a letter of intent, a resume and an oral Interview had to be on file by Aug. 1 or Commissioner Criscuolo would not have an opportunity to run.

Commissioner Criscuolo did all three. After not being selected, they selected a person who, still, 18 months later, has not done any of the above.

This is dirty, backroom politics. Why would anyone consider electing them on a state level? So much for honesty, integrity and transparency.

Strong leader

Editor:

I am writing in support of state Rep. David Yaccarino for re-election in the 87th District, which represents North Haven.

I have known Dave for over 45 years. He has strong leadership skills, which have been noted by his colleagues at the State Capital. Locally, residents know of his compassion and concern in solving their problems.

Dave works tirelessly on jobs, healthcare, and concerns for seniors and veterans. He puts people first and supports public safety officers to keep our community safe.

I am proud to give my full endorsement to David Yaccarino in his bid for re-election!

Chairman, North Haven
