Convoy of Hope rolls into North Haven

Convoy of Hope rolls into North Haven

Convoy of Hope, a faith-based, nonprofit organization, helps empower others to live with greater independence and freedom from poverty, disease and hunger. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the group aims to provide 10 million meals across the U.S.

Hope Christian Church in North Haven was selected as one of three Southern New England distribution sites by Southern New England Ministry Network of the Assemblies of God.

Over the past two weeks, more than 73,000 pounds of nonperishable food supplies have been delivered by Convoy of Hope to the New England region. Thirty-five Assemblies of God churches, from Brookfield to Boston, have received these supplies and are helping to meet critical needs in their communities.

Hope Christian Church donated a portion of supplies to the North Haven Food Bank. North Haven’s C.E.R.T. team assisted in transporting the goods to the pantry and church members unloaded and separated the food.
