Pints-4-Paws fundraiser supports animal shelter



Twelve Percent Imports, 341 State St. in North Haven, is sponsoring a craft beer fundraiser – Pints-4-Paws – to raise awareness and funds for the Hamden Animal Shelter, a first for the city.

Twelve Percent Imports will donate $1 to the shelter fund for every pint of the craft beer Baby Kittens sold at participating establishments during the month of April.

The 15 participating merchants are: Aunt Chilada's Mexican Restaurant, Odie's Place, Dickerman's, MiKro Depot, Side Street Cafe, Eli's on Whitney, Elks Lodge 2224, J Roo's (North Haven), Wood-N-Tap, Cafe Ibiza, JaSa Asian Cuisine, The Cellar on Treadwell, Weed's Cafe, The Playwright and Camacho Grill (Westville).

The participating merchants offer a wide variety of dining choices, including outdoor patios, take-out and delivery. By running the fundraiser for an entire month, people can safely participate at levels they feel comfortable with. For more details, visit AbandonedAnimals.org.
