MSP students are unmasking their creativity

Middle School of Plainville students are back in art class and expressing their creativity. MSP Art Teacher Laura Meehan shares that students are telling her daily, how happy they are to be creating hands-on work in class.

Sixth grader Kayleigh Matos said, “I like how when we are doing art projects we can show who we are, and express our creativity.”

“I really, really like being in art class, it boosts my creativity,” said sixth grader Jayden Molina.

MSP students follow along in-person and online with virtual instruction, demonstration videos, and live feedback from their art teachers. This allows every student the opportunity to create art at home or in school.

“It is so wonderful to see the students expressing themselves and being able to share their art with each other,” Meehan noted.
