SOUTHINGTON — A Hartford man has been charged with sexually assaulting a resident in their home Saturday night.
Anthony Williams, 28, 45 Barbour St., apartment 403, Hartford also reportedly placed his hand around the resident’s throat multiple times, according to police. The resident told police they had invited Williams into the home, however, he arrived under the influence of drugs or alcohol and was having difficulty maintaining his balance.
During his processing, an officer sustained an injury and received medical treatment.
Williams was charged with first-degree sexual assault, second-degree strangulation, second-degree breach of peace and interfering with an officer. His bond was set at $100,000.
