SOUTHINGTON — The Democratic Town Committee will present its 2022 Distinguished Democrat of the Year award to Anthony “Tony” D’Angelo during a dinner at the Manor Inn on Friday. 

The award recognizes D’Angelo’s more than 50 years of service to the community as an educator, public official and volunteer. 

The event will be held from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Manor Inn Restaurant, 1636 Meriden-Waterbury Turnpike. Tickets are $65 per person or $120 per couple and may be purchased at http://southingtondemocrats.org.
