Southington police investigating after pedestrian struck on Main Street 



 

SOUTHINGTON — Police are investigating after a pedestrian was stuck by a vehicle on Main Street Thursday morning. 

The pedestrian suffered non-life threatening injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

The incident happened around 8:45 a.m. The pedestrian was on the sidewalk near the driveway of CVS, 310 Main St., when they were struck by a vehicle leaving CVS, Lt. Stephen Elliott said.

The road was closed for a short time while police investigated.

The identities of the driver and pedestrian have not been released.
