Platform: Over my 12 years on the Board of Finance I have accomplished my goals of being fiscally responsible and maintaining a fair and reasonable tax rate for the residents of Southington, while supporting both the town and Board of Education budgets. I have decided to run for the Board of Finance again to ensure that the residents, once again have a voice in how town officials spend taxpayer money. Taxpayers need to know that their tax dollars are not being misused in any way.

Platform: It is incumbent upon the Board of Finance to not only manage the town’s current finances, but to be proactive in positioning Southington for fiscal stability in the future. Much uncertainty exists and will continue to exist outside of Southington’s control, so prudent long-range planning is critical.

Other: I have the privilege of serving on the Board of Finance currently.  As an elected official, I would ask voters to consider my track record of making all decisions consistent with what will best position Southington for success both now and in the future.
