As Connecticut moves into phase 3 during COVID-19, The New Britain Museum of American Art is going to keep their plan in place.  Visitors and staff have to wear a mask, keep their social distance and have to follow the arrows throughout the museum.

The museum is keeping the capacity to about 10% during the pandemic.  They are only allowing 15 visitors in at a time every 15 minutes and encouraging them to visit for about 90 minutes at a time.  Visitors purchase a ticket online and their tickets will be scanned from their phone when they arrived.  The museum is closed on Monday and Tuesday for cleaning and not selling tickets from 1 pm to 2 pm on days they are open so they can do a mid-day cleaning.
