Middlefield’s Lake Beseck Beach has opened for the season and family passes are available for $25. There is no charge for people age 62-plus.

Pass-holders must reside in Middlefield or Rockfall. A pass-checker staffs the beach, and lifeguards are on duty every day.

The beach is open 30 minutes before sunrise and 30 minutes after sunset. Parking lot hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Adults must accompany children under age 12. Also, no alcohol, pets, or motorized boats are allowed on or near the beach. Non-motorized watercraft are permitted.
