Fair has jam-packed entertainment schedule

The Durham Fair is excited to bring you on a musical adventure around the world. Make sure when you stop down at our 101st Durham Fair you come visit the new international music stage. Let the music — and your imagination — bring you to far off places like Poland, Ireland, Mexico, China, Italy, and the Caribbean.

On Thursday, Sept. 23 come dance a jig with the Nosmo Kings, who will be playing some of our favorite Irish tunes. On Friday, Sept. 24 have a seat and be serenaded with some Italian classics with Mr. Sapia, or perhaps stay into the evening, put on your sombrero, and let Mariachi Corazón de Oro celebrate with you. When you come back to the fair on Saturday, Sept. 25 you're in for a day full of musical adventure. Whether it's the Hartt School of music Chinese Ensemble, The Happy Travelers polka orchestra, or the Sound Pipers reggae band you're sure to feel the music move you. On Sunday, Sept. 26 we round out our international travels and bring you back home with some good old-fashioned doo-wop by The Jukebox45 Show Band. These guys take us back home to a simpler time.
