Details of Middlefield redistricting explained



The State Redistricting Commission has changed the district lines for the State Senate District in the Town of Middlefield.

Registered voters who live on the west side of Jackson Hill Road to the Meriden town line will remain in the 13th State Senate District.

Registered voters who live on the east side of Jackson Hill Road to the Middletown town line will now be in the 12th State Senate District.

When Election Day arrives Nov. 8, voting will be at Memorial School for all Middlefield voters.

Those residing in State Senate District 13 will vote in the school cafeteria, while those residing in State Senate District 12 will vote in the gymnasium

The entire town of Middlefield is now in the 90th House District (previously in the 82nd House District).
