WALLINGFORD — Administrators and law enforcement have launched an investigation after police said a physical alteration involving two students and a teacher took place at Dag Hammarskjold Middle School this week.

Police said the incident occurred at approximately 1:46 p.m. on Wednesday and included the use of a “classroom object,” but declined to provide further details on the object in question or in what capacity it was used.

No arrests were made and no charges were brought forward against any of the involved parties after the situation was diffused, according to police.
