WALLINGFORD — Three more employees of the Library Wine Bar and Bistro have tested positive for COVID-19, raising the total to five.

The restaurant, 60 N. Main St., has been closed since Friday after two employees tested positive.

Town Health Director Stephen Civitelli confirmed the new cases Wednesday, adding that he doesn’t believe there are any more cases among employees of the restaurant right now.

His department performed contact tracing on all five employees, some of whom live outside of Wallingford, he said.

Owner Joe Gouveia said Wednesday that all of the other restaurant employees who have been tested for COVID-19 have had their results come back negative so far.

The restaurant closure was announced Monday via Facebook.
