WALLINGFORD— Police say two men are in custody after attempting credit card fraud at Walmart.

Police expect to charge Marco Munoz, a 24-year-old from New Haven and Jose Cardnos, a 21-year-old possibly from Cuba, with multiple felonies related to possession and use of illegal credit cards. The items and value of what they attempted to buy is not known at this time. Both men are being held on a $50,000 bond each, according to police.

The men fled Walmart around 5:30 p.m. Friday night and were seen running down Route 5 before hiding in the bathroom of Ola Resturant, according to police.
