Today I’m sharing a spring into Summer Bucket list with fun things for you and your kids to do this month. There’s still a few weeks left in school, but that doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy the longer daylight hours together outdoors.
If you happen to be kid-free, you too can enjoy these easy (and mostly FREE) activities to celebrate spring turning into summer.
Spring into Summer Bucket List
-Go to a baseball game
-Take a nature walk
-Go hiking
-Plant a garden
-Watch the sunset
-Visit a farm
-Fly a kite
-Go on a picnic
-Visit a farmers’ market
-Feed the ducks at a pond
-Build a birdhouse
-Go berry picking

-Attend an outdoor concert
-Visit an amusement park or church fair
-Visit a tulip farm
-Go to an aquarium
Things to Do in Connecticut during the Spring
Spring in New England can be tricky – sometimes it is cold and rainy for days – other times its 75 and sunny. Whenever it’s nice out we make a point to take advantage of the beautiful weather! Here are a few fun things to do in Connecticut during the spring:
-Take a spring hike (check out the 10 best trails in CT)
-Visit a farm
-Eat ice cream (We love Sweet Creams in Wallingford!)
-Shop at a farmer’s market (Wallingford has one every Saturday!)
-Visit the Beardsley Zoo in Bridgeport
-Visit Gillette Castle State Park in East Haddam
-Visit Castle Craig in Meriden
-Visit Hammonasset Beach State Park in Madison
