LETTERS: Cheshire’s success; and the impeachment

 Great things to come

Editor:

My congratulations to Rob Oris, as well as the entire Town Council, and Ilona Somogyi, along with the Ball & Socket Board of Directors, for persevering with a project 10 years in the making. This is a great example of synergy between business and the arts. Rob Oris believes “(This project’s) success is Cheshire’s success.” Let’s hope for great things for the Ball & Socket Project on West Main Street, and what it will mean for Cheshire.

Elliott Whitney, Cheshire

 Do the right thing

Editor:

I would like to know what education you need to be a senator. I see that 40+ of them do not know the Constitution and what it said about impeachment. If there is a question for them, then they should go to the Supreme Court and get a ruling (that is their real job, not to hear a whining EX-president tell lies) and if the Democrats are wrong, then this impeachment should be stopped, and save our tax dollars. If the Democrats are correct, then the Republican senators should shut up and do the right thing and find the EX-president guilty and shut up.

We all know what he said in Jan. 6th. Are all those Republican senators afraid they won’t get any money from Trump for their upcoming elections?  I hope the courts in N.Y. finally get going.
