NEW HAVEN —The Sheehan golf team remained on its unbeaten course Tuesday with a 187-243 SCC victory over host Career at Alling Memorial Golf Course.
Andrew Carey landed the medal for the Titans with an 8-over-par round of 44.
Trevor Held, who medaled in Monday’s victory over Foran, was one stroke back at 45.
Sheehan also got scoring from Drew Dellipoali (48) and Dylan Hennessey (50).
The Titans are now 9-0.
Lyman Hall: Braden Kwalik shot a 49 for the host Trojans in a SCC match at Walingford Country Club.
Branford carded a collective 175 led by medalist Keegan Lalone, who shot a 39.
Middletown 187, Maloney 189: The Blue Dragons edged the Spartans in a CCC South showdown at Hunter Golf Course.
Maloney’s Dylan Miller earned the medal with an 8-over-par 44 across Hunter’s back nine. Brady Camire came in with a 46.
Middletown countered with rounds of 45 from Garrett Kronenberger and Joey Snipes. Noah Blake added a 46 for the Blue Dragons.
Rounding out the Maloney card were Nathan Camire (49) and Josh Farnsworth (50).
The decision put Middletown at 7-1 overall as well as in the CCC South. Maloney slipped to 8-2 overall and 7-2 in the division.
Wilcox Tech 198, Norwich Tech 210: Joshua Lavendar got the medal with a 44 for the home team, but the Indians got the CTC crossover win at Norwich Golf Course to hit double-digit victories on the season.
Wilcox is now 10-3 overall. Norwich Tech fell to 5-3.
Colin Fletcher and Alex Segaline led the Tribe with rounds of 46, Cole Maluszewski shot a 49 and Jacob Long finished with a 57.
Platt 209, New Britain 213: The Panthers improved to 4-6 overall and 4-5 in the CCC South with the divisional win over the host Golden Hurricanes at Stanley Golf Course.
New Britain’s Xavier Goode had the medal round with a 39.
Platt freshman Tyler Cessario was two strokes off the pace at 41.
Clayton Bruenn came in with a 51 for the Panthers. Jaxon Mitchell (58) and Gabe Handley (59) completed the winning card.
Cheshire 185, Amity 193: The Rams rebounded from Monday’s loss to Lauralton Hall, their first of the season, to out-shoot the host Spartans in a SCC match at Race Brook Country Club.
Cheshire’s Sydney Hidalgo took the medal with a round of 38. Her sister Mia Hidalgo shot a 45.
The Rams also got rounds of 51 from Mackenzie Corcoran and Molly Demeo as they improved to 6-1.
