BRISTOL — The Maloney track and field teams swept a CCC South dual meet from Bristol Eastern on Tuesday
Kyle Wimbish led the boys to a 72-63 victory by capturing three events.
In the girls meet, double-winners Shaelyn Murphy, Bria Benigni and Armani Jordan spearheaded a 76-51 triumph.
Wimbish earned his gold in the discus (79-1), shot put (29-0) and high jump (5-6).
On the track, Marquis Ward kept up his torrid pace by winning the 100 in 11.5, the 200 in 23.7 and leading off the first-place 4x100.
Ward teamed with Anthony Hawkins, Jakiah Ross and Jaden Myles on a time of 46.9.
Hawkins went on to win the javelin (117-11), while Myles anchored the winning 4x400 and 4x800 relays behind Xavier Zaler and Reynaldo Torres. The trio was joined by Jordan Lane on the 4x4 (3:55) and Tristyn Barnes on the 4x8 (8:58).
Individually, Zaler captured the 400 (53.3), Torres the 800 (2:04) and Barnes the 1600 (5:20).
For the girls, Murphy took the 100 (13.7) and high jump (4-10), while Benigni posted the fast times in the 800 (2:39) and 1600 (5:25).
Both girls also anchored winning relays. Murphy teamed with Lauran Matias, Kristen McCormack and Jylosdet Davila on the 4x100 (55.1). Benigni combined with Savannah Vasquez, Mia Carbone and Elliyah Cloutier on the 4x800 (10:32).
Davila won the 100 hurdles (17.4). and Cloutier captured the 400 (69.5).
Armani Jordan threw long in the shot (26-0) and discus (61-10). McCormack landed 13-6 in the long jump.
