WALLINGFORD — Chalk up another school record for Sheehan swimmer Joey Zellner.
And chalk up another team win for the Lyman Hall/Coginchaug co-op.
Actually, make that two team wins for the Trojans, who defeated the rival Titans 94-78 as well as West Haven 100-74 in a pair of SCC virtual meets Monday at the Sheehan pool.
The Trojans came away from Monday’s double-dual at 3-1.
Zellner’s record came in the 200-yard individual medley. The senior swam a 1:57.77 to break Rob Hacku’s six-year-old standard of 1:59.37.
It’s the second time this season Zellner rewrote a Sheehan record previously held by Hacku. The other came in the 100 freestyle, where Zellner swam a 47.10 back on Feb. 11.
Against Lyman Hall/Coginchaug, Zellner took both the 200 IM and the 100 free (53.64), but the rivalry meet belonged once again to coach Donna Neary’s Trojans, who were led by freshman Jerick Lagamao.
The rookie swam a 1:58.24 in the 200 freestyle and a 58.68 in the 100 backstroke — the fast times against both Sheehan and West Haven.
Lagamao also led off the 200 medley relay ahead of Alex Sabo, Sydney Raffles and Dylan Zolnik. The quartet beat both Sheehan and West Haven with a time of 2:00.51.
Lagamao, Sabo, Zolnik teamed with Shane Fitzpatrick for a 1:49.02 in the 200 free relay that bested West Haven.
Fitzpatrick and Raffles, meanwhile, combined with Ryan Christopoulos and Matt Clem for a 4:21.02 that beat Sheehan in the 400 free relay.
Individually, the 5:51.22 Christopoulos posted in the 500 freestyle got LH first-place points against both opponents. Ditto for Sabo’s 1:14.42 in the 100 breaststroke and Elyse Boothroyd’s six-dive score of 227.17.
Zolnik capped the win over West Haven with a 26.57 in the 50 freestyle.
Sheehan, along with Zellner’s record in the IM, got a pair of individual wins from Aaron Gamble. The senior captain took the 50 free in 23.88 and the 100 butterfly 1:03.65.
Gamble also teamed with Zellner, Kalen Boman and John Womelsdorf to win the 200 free relay in 1:43.80.
