103rd District House Candidates
Education: Attended Central Connecticut State University
Platform: The pandemic has underscored that Connecticut needs to continue making health care accessible, affordable, and less onerous. I will work to reduce prescription drug and health care costs, and make health care easier to access for individuals and small businesses. I’ll protect Husky coverage for children, and make vaccinations accessible. I will work to reopen Connecticut and get us back to work safely by always making science-backed decisions for the good of public health. I will support policies which ensure Connecticut is open, and more affordable for all.

Occupation: Homemaker and legislative aide to former Senator Joe Markley
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Salve Regina University
Platform: Poor public policy has devastated a state economy that was once a powerhouse; good policy can still restore Connecticut. We must end the spend-and-tax cycle and return to the principles of fiscal responsibility, economic opportunity, personal liberty, and limited government, which made our state and nation strong and prosperous.
Other: Salamone is the Independent Party-endorsed candidate. The National Federation of Independent Businesses has also endorsed her candidacy.
