Occupation: Retired federal prosecutor for 30 years in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Connecticut.
Education: Graduated Catholic University of America with a bachelor’s degree in English literature, juris doctorate from the Columbus School of Law at the Catholic University of America, second law degree in federal taxation from the Quinnipiac University School of Law.
Platform: I am the rule of law candidate who sees a marked difference between peaceful protests and the rioting and killing happening in many cities across the nation. I will work for better and more effective policing, which will include more accountability and a stronger focus on the de-escalation of police interactions with non-violent offenders. I will be a forceful advocate in Congress for capitalism and against socialism.

Platform: I am running as an Independent as I believe partisanship in Congress has led to a dysfunctional country. We must return to bipartisanship to get the government working again. Solutions need to represent the needs of the country not party ideology. We must put solutions above party and get our government working again.
Other: I have an extensive background in business and social services. I have been president and vice president of major companies including Prudential and Fidelity. I have been deeply involved in charities and have been on the boards of United Way, Junior Achievement and Multiple Sclerosis. Most recently I was president of the Local Lions Club. I was elected to a four-year term as a Newtown police commissioner, and have run for First Selectman and Legislative Counsel.
